I'm sure you've all heard this before, and I'm tired of hearing it my self.

"It doesn't matter what people think."

That, my friends, is a LIE. Sorry, but it really is. You wont get anywhere in life unless you care about what other people think.

For example, you will probably never get a job if you don't care about what your employer thinks of you. If you do happen to get a job, you will never get a promotion unless you care enough about what others think to impress them. Switching from the job example, what about friends? If you walk around, not caring about what anyone says or thinks, you will be alone forever. If everyone hates you because you're mean to everyone, that matters. Without people to tell you what's wrong with you, or to a least give you an opinion on what they think of you, you'll never get anywhere.

Honestly, no one can survive in this world without the opinion of others. It really does matter what people think.
